How?
Jackie died from a heart attack. Jackie was known as the man who broke the colour barrier in the MLB. Jackie was the first MVP in the MLB, he won the first batting title, he was the first person inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was the first baseball player to be featured on the US. postage stamp. Jackie had a lot of courage to go into the major leagues as a black man. He got bullied and made fun of, he was treated badly because he was black. Jackie made it so that any black player that is good enough can be in the major leagues. Some Examples of good black players: Mookie Betts, Addison Russell, Carl Edwards Jr., Jason Heyward, Austin Jackson, George Springer, Lorenzo Cain, Giancarlo Stanton, Dee Gordon, Khris Davis, Howie Kendrick, Andrew Mccutchen, Josh Bell, Josh Harrison, Dexter Fowler, etc. They are all great players that are black. If it wasn’t for Jackie Robinson then those players might not have been able to play baseball. Jackie was the one who made baseball a great sport because the great players that are black make the game of baseball very exciting to watch.
